OMG
OMG what can i say about this chip shop, it is simplly THE BEST, Parkeys chip shop is next door to my place of work so i have to be so dissaplined or ill end up as fat as a house, the portions are so big as well i now get a childs portion which is plenty for myself, the gormet sausage's are very nice and they are supplied from a local butcher.

Well..what can I say!! This chip shop is a pleasure to go in...its fresh, clean, the staff are a laugh!! and the portions you get are huge!! a little tip..if you are a pensioner then do ask for the Senior Citizen Special...its cheaper than the regular fish and chips but boy they still cram it into the box!! The food is always freshly cooked while you wait, the chips are out of this world, as is the batter!! making me feel hungry just writing about it!! The only downside is the parking...right on the zig zags and right on the corner of Castle Court..but believe me its well worth the walk from Castle Court car park to get your chips. The boxes they put them in keep them warm too which is great if you have a bit of a journey. Another good thing is that they have a big tv with sub-titles so you can watch the news whilst you wait for your food. An excellent chippie....excellent prices...and if it wasnt so late...I would be over there now :-)

best chippy around
parkys chippy really has got to be the best chippy around. the chip shop is always clean and tidy with well presented staff. the food is also nice and tasty with all of it being freshly cooked. they get very busy around tea time so be prepsred to wait a while unless you pre order. but either way you will love the food.

fab chips
parkys chippy at the bottom of the high street in thornbury is a total breath of fresh air to thornbury, finally we have a decent chippy in the town. all the food is freshly cooked and the prices are also very good. the plasma screen is also a great feature.

best chippy in town
thornbury has a couple of takeaways but my best has to be parkys, there fresh clean feel makes them stand out from the rest. clearly alot of work went in to fitting the building out. the food is on the money everytime and you also get a lot for your money. the only down side is the lack of parking but its more than worth spending the time looking for a parking space.

watch out theres a new boy in town!
when it comes to chip shops there really is no better chippy around than the Parkys Chippy located at the bottom of the high street. they serve the usual chipptys, fish, burgers ect but most all the food is cooked from fresh. they also sell a good range of cold drinks and also have a couple of tables out side making it good to stop and have some chips for dinner.

Chips Away
When this chippy was planning to open I thought o no not another fast food place! But I went in to get some chips before the England game and the prices were very good, the service was fantastic and the fish and chips were the best I have had for a long time!
Only downside was that they could not get the large plasma tv working a slight tech glitch.
The only other down side is parking. Although there is a large car park just a few mtrs behind the unit. And parking in the high street.
