Easy access
Boots the Chemist in Thornbury High Street is an excellent outlet. I noticed the automatic door and better than that, no steps!! so easy access for people with wheel chairs.
The shop is nicely set out and I must say it is nice to see a shop that doesnt have extremely high shelves which makes it almost impossible for wheelchair users to reach items on the top shelf.
On a downside, the pharmacy is closed between 1 and 2 each day which seems a little ironic as that is the main time workers in Thornbury have a chance to pop in the Chemist for their prescriptions or any controlled medications that they might need.
Saying that they do a repeat prescription service which is excellent for customers that tend to forget to request their repeat prescriptions.
As with most Boots stores, they have a vast range of cosmetics, baby items, health items, perfumes...and of course photographic items.
Well worth a visit, it is much easier to get around the inside of Boots rather than other chemists as it is such a large open store.
