Time is running out for primary school applications in Thornbury

Parents in Thornbury and the surrounding area are reminded that the closing date for primary school applications is midnight on Saturday 15th January.

If you haven’t yet submitted your application then you can submit a primary school application quickly and easily online by visiting www.southglos.gov.uk/admissions. It is recommended that parents choose four preferred schools as school places cannot be guaranteed which means that if the first preferred school place was not available then it would fall to the next preferred school.

Parents will be told which school their child has been allocated on 26th April, if you are unhappy with the school that your child has been allocated then you can submit an appeal. Appeals will be held during June and July.
