Pupils give their new school the thumbs up

Last Tuesday pupils at St Peters Primary School in Pilning were buzzing with delight as they lined up to prepare for lesions at their new school.
The New St Peters Primary School cost £5 million and took over three years to complete but the wait was well worth it. The new school boasts of all the latest mod cons including under floor heating, a sedam roof as well as a nature trail, open space library and even a vegetable plot.
One pupil from class five said “this school is wicked we even have smart new computers as well as our own desks” another pupil added “the sports hall is much better than the old one it’s all clean and tidy, we even have to take our shoes off before we go into the school”
Not only does the new school provide students with all the tools needed for state of the art education it is also clearly noticeable that the parking headache for staff and parents appear to be a thing of the past.
The new school has ample amounts of parking as well as wider roads making it easy to safely drop the children of outside the main building.
In the former school, parking was a real concern with some parents parking on double yellow lines and across drive ways one parent added “everyone thought it was only a matter of time before a child was struck by a car, thankfully that did not happen and with the new school and much improved parking and pathways child safety is no longer a concern.
There will be an official opening ceremony of the new St Peter’s Primary School on June 29.
Does your child attend St Peters Primary School? If so what do you / they think about the new school, design, and parking?
