It must be an omen for Wright Connections

The past has caught up with the owners of Wright Connections in Wotton-under-Edge which bodes well their recent move and expansion into new premises in the town.
The poster from down the back of the cupboard
Colin and Hazel Wright with the poster
Colin Wright, who with his wife Hazel runs Wright Connections - the only specialist electrical and lighting shop in the area, was stripping out and refurbishing a window display unit when a piece of paper fell out. He was rather taken aback to say the least when it turned out to be an advertisement that he drew for his wife over twenty years ago. He explained: "Hazel used to run the local toddlers group and when she decided she needed to advertise for new members I drew up a poster for her by hand as it was long before computers were being used in the home for such things. In those days this shop was occupied by Baileys Newsagents and the poster was placed in the window. It must have fallen down a gap at the back and has been there for the last twenty years or more. This must be an omen for us. The Gods obviously intended us to move here. We must be using the Wright Connections!"
The poster has now been framed and given pride of place on the counter.
