Young woman killed this morning in road accident

A young woman has died after a road accident in Milbury Heath, near Thornbury.
Police said the 18-year-old was driving a Peugeot 206 towards the A38 just before 1.30am today when it is believed she hit a wall.
She was taken to Frenchay Hospital by ambulance but was later pronounced dead.
Her name has not yet been released but it is understood she lived locally.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to the accident to contact officers in the collision investigation unit on 0845 456 7000.
