Just to let you know that Castle Street will be closed this Saturday morning/afternoon as part of the preparations for the first of this year's food fairs.

Thornbury Food Fair (20-06-09)
Since the success of the 2008 fair the town has held the quarterly food fair to bring together local producers as well as other successful stallholders from around Bristol. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend this month's fair, but I can recommend it based on past experience (especially the cooked burgers they have on sale). However, if you're in the same position as me and are unable to attend you need not fret as a number of locally produced products are available through the Thornbury Fair Foods website all year around (depending on the season of course).
For a look at last year's December food fair you can view this video posted by mwingereza on youtube (I'm sure he won't mind me putting on here).
One more thing, if you're feeling civic minded the local litter busters will be out in force to help clean up the inevitable collection of rubbish that comes with holding an event like the food fair, so if you want to help out you can look at their website for more details.

I considered what you said in the article about Google maps and figured you would be happy for me to use it. A good video by the way - do you put them up anywhere besides Youtube?

ReportHehehe, I've been outed. I am fine with links to any of my YouTube videos. I am not precious about my work, it's only an unpaid hobby, after all. If I really cared about my intellectual property I wouldn't post to YouTube - it's so easy to download a video from there, but you'll never find me screaming copyright, that's just not me. You'll probably have noticed that most of my videos are simply observational, like the above linked food fair video, but a few of them do express a personal opinion, often with some cynicism.
