Roman Coin Story Competition: Update

Thank you to all the local schools who arranged for their pupils to write a story about the Roman Coin Hoard held in Thornbury Museum. The judges have been very impressed with the imaginations of some local children, and the standard of the work has been exceptional. This has made it especially hard to pick overall winners, but we hope to select five very soon.

Unfortunately the date of the prize presentation has been pushed back. The presentation itself will still be held at the museum, and we will be contacting the schools to let them know the new date as soon as it has been organised.

Thank you once again for all your hard work, and I hope to see many of you at the museum very soon!
