Handel for Haiti

HANDEL FOR HAITI

On Sunday March 7th at 2 p.m. in St Mary’s Church Thornbury a “Come and Sing” event is being organised to raise funds for the Haiti Appeal. Under the expert guidance of Kate Phillipson-Masters the assembled singers will perform all the choruses from Handel’s Messiah, accompanied by Nigel Davies on the organ. The linking arias and recitatives will be narrated by Steve Webb M.P. There will be no charge for participating but there will be a retiring collection in aid of the Haiti Appeal. If you are not a singer you are most welcome to come and listen. No booking is required. If you cannot come and participate but wish to donate please send a cheque made out to DEC Haiti Earthquake to DEC c/o 18 Willoughby Close, Alveston, Bristol BS35 3RW

Please bring your own score if you have one, otherwise loan scores will be available in exchange for a £10 returnable deposit. Water and juice will be available in the interval.
