Alveston wins CPRE Village of the Year Competition 2010

Alveston Community Forum is proud to announce that Alveston has won the CPRE Large Village of the Year Competiton for Avonside. This victory over villages entering in S Glos, B&NES and N Somerset is a huge achievement for our village.It reflects the vibrant and caring community in which we are fortunate to live. The Forum acknowledges the contributions of our Churches, Societies, Clubs and groups in Alveston as well as the support of local businesses especially The Ship Inn and Alveston House Hotel.Special mention for Alveston Litter busters who work so hard for us all.
