Some areas in and around Thornbury woke up to sleet like snow this morning but there is no need to rush out to buy sledges, snow shovels and snow chains just yet. As the week moves on signs of snow in or around Thornbury fades with temperatures even getting wormer towards the end of the week.

Tomorrow (Tuesday 31st) will see a cold start to the day with Highs of 3 and Lows reaching -3 all in all tomorrow will be cold, bright and breezy for most of the day.

Wednesday will bring Highs of around 3 with Lows of -3 mainly dry and bright with sunny spells as cold conditions spread in from the east, with marked wind-chill and isolated wintry showers. Overnight frosts becoming widespread.

Thursday Highs of just 2 and Lows of -3 almost a mirror of Wednesday's weather forecast.

Friday is looking slightly better with Highs of 3 and Lows of 1 however with a strong wind-chill expected you might wish to wrap up warm when going outside.
