The residents of South Gloucestershire have spoken and they do NOT want an alternative 'vote system'.

It is the moment that we have all been waiting for, the votes are in and I can reveal that 64,993 Voters in the whole of South Gloucestershire votes NO and only 27,179 voted yes meaning a total of 92,554 residents out of a possible 200,474 in South Gloucestershire voted giving a turn out percentage of just 46.17%.

Residents of South Gloucestershire have voted and it is a NO to an AV system.
At the moment 5,718,680 votes are in favour of the AV System but a staggering 12,398,453 are saying NO to an AV system.
With only 5 voting areas left to submit their results it is looking more and more likely that the outcome of an AV system will be a big NO.
What do you make of the results, what do you think about a 46.17% turn out in South Gloucestershire?

Had to add...my Mother who is 82 said she put 'YES' as she didnt like to put 'NO'. I asked her if she knew what she had put 'yes' to...and she said she didnt have a clue but thought it wouldn't be nice to put no!!!! She also put 1,2,3, on her ballot paper!!
I think a lot of people, young and old, didnt understand what they were supposed to be doing!! But I still think the majority thought NO

Reportwell well well just think how much money this has cost the tax payer so far!!!! it never would have worked.
