Wildings caters for all the local schools in the area so this really is the place to go. As well as custom school branded uniform Wildings also sells your standard school uniforms.
Dont for get the P.E Kit
If they Love it or hate it they will still need a P.E Kit, So as well as all the previously mentioned retailers like,
Qs, M & Co & wildings, Thornbury has a long standing sports shop called G T Sports located on Oakleaze Road, G T Sports offers just about everything that you are likely to need without the need of having to visit the big name out of town sports retailers.
How about a Bike?
Most of the local schools are promoting cycling to school so why not let your child kick start the new school year with a flashy new bike? Pete Cycles also located on Oakleaze Road stocks a wide range of leading branded bikes at very reasonable prices, Or why not revive your childs existing bike? Pete Cycles stocks just about every part you could possibly need and if your not a bike tech then that doesn’t matter as they also offer a full maintenance and servicing advice and service.
Now for that all important stationery
Thornbury also has a number of shops that sells all levels of stationery from pens and paper to rulers and folders, Depending on your budget and the type of stationery you're after will depend on whether you will be looking to shop at a discounted retailer such as the Trading Post or Cotswold News. For all your novelty style stationery such as the popular Ben 10, Toy Story & Bratz it is well worth taking a look in Cotswold News and The Trading Post.
CotswoldNews and The Trading post offers a range of these branded items starting from as little as 49p. Other retailers worth taking a look in include Key Stores, Co-Op & Tesco’s.
For higher quality stationery as well as more professional items you should visit Horders Horders are a long standing retailer that offers a high volume of quality stationery making it the perfect choice for those students looking to move up to 6th form college or university.
Aldi also runs a number of promotions each week and they have previously stocked a selection of back to school items, Although nothing yet has been advertised it is worth keeping an eye out as the offers are whilst stock lasts!
If we have missed a retailer or you know of any other promotions running then we would love to know about them, If you find a back to school deal then we would also like to know about it so why not share your best buys with us all.

Reportthanks for the info. Monday was the first time that i went on this website after picking up a flyer whilst out shopping on monday.
I never thought to go to Cotswold News for stationery, Glad I did though £4 I spent and i was able to get all the stationery that my little boy needed for the start of school. However does anyone know where I could buy a Ben10 school bag in Thornbury? thats the only item i have still to buy and I cant seem to find a shop in thornbury selling them??
Thanks again.
