Local Man Steve Yeo is set to release his DEBUT album

Steve Yeo is one of the west country's leading vocalists, with one of the widest vocal ranges. With over twenty years experience in pubs, clubs, cruise ships, festivals, corporate events and holiday villages, he easily lives up to his reputation as "The Voice". With a musical content as wide as Mario Lanza and Pavarrotti to the Drifters, the Hollies and the Platters, to the chalenges of rock masters such as Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams all executed with the masterful tones of a seasoned entertainer.

With great audience participation and vocal dexterity, Steve Yeo's fully self contained shows and events will transform a good event into an unforgettable night.

Steve has put together a five piece showband, who will now be travelling with him to all of the bigger venues, promoting the release of 'EVENTUALLY' the debut album from Steve Yeo.

Steve born and raised in Bristol said “I had no ideas or interest in music or singing until later in life, I suppose I was a late developer“

In fact It wasn’t until he was 23 when he was spotted at work singing around the warehouse and was then asked by an agency worker to audition for his band. So he did and he has been singing on stage ever since.

Steve continued by saying “If I am completely honest, there has never been any sort of big ambitions for music until few years ago, I found myself at a life-altering crossroad. Having been diagnosed with cancer on my vocal chords, everything in my life became more real and more focused. Two years later and free from affliction, I decided to leave the pain of my past behind me and take an enormous financial leap of faith

I wanted to create an album before I felt too old to do so.

The album EVENTUALLY, has been a work in progress for a long time, with some of the songs originally written in 1990 before I even started to sing.

This album is not so much as my life story so far, but more of a collection of songs reflecting what makes me who I am. My views on life around me; War and peace, love and family”.

Steve father to four kids aged from 4 to 17 lives and work on his music full time in Charfield south Gloucestershire, Steve is soon to be married to Lisa who he as known for 15 years.

Work on the album is well under way and will be finished around October in time for the single launch.

Festivals have been booked and a small tour of the U.K. is planned throughout 2011 with his newly formed band. Dates are not yet available but further information will be added once dates become available.
