The Thornbury Round Table, organisers of the fantastic fireworks display at the Mundy playing fields each year have confirmed that there display this year will take place on Saturday 6th November. The gates open at 5:30pm with the children’s display starting at 6:30 followed by the main display at 7:40pm.
This year’s entertainment is supplied by the radio station Star FM and the event is expected to attract more visitors than ever before.
The second display is organised by the Chantry, each year the Chantry puts on a splendid display and this year will be no exception, this year’s firework display is on the Friday 5th and starts at 7pm, which means fire work lovers will have the chance to attend both shows.
This year Aldi are also stocking a small selection of fireworks.
When it comes to other party essentials such as paper cups and plates you should visit Caroline Packaging located on the industrial estate and for that all important party food you should check out Aldi & Tesco’s.
