Need a low cost bike? Want to start cycling? Come along to Life Cycle UK's latest low-cost refurbished bike sale!
Starting at 8:30 am, by the fountains opposite the Hippodrome on St Augustine's parade, we will have a selection of quality used and refurbished bicycles for sale - with prices starting from just £40 for adult bikes.
Have an old bike you don't want anymore? Why not give it a new lease of life - we will also be collecting donations of unwanted bicycles to fix up.
All the bikes are from our Bike Back project. The Bike Back project is a bike recycling scheme funded by the Big Lottery and is run in collaboration with Bristol HMP. Our trained mechanics work with prisoners to refurbish the bikes. The scheme gives old bikes a new lease of life and also provides the prisoners with valuable skills to help them re-integrate into society. All the bikes are in sound mechanical order and have been professionally checked by our CyTech trained mechanic.

ReportA great idea however with prices starting from£40 they are not all that cheap after all Halfords currently have a very big saleon their bikes as well as companies such as Tesco offering new bikes from £69.
Might stillbe worth a look though.
