Armstrong Hall Complex
Good for events
I have been to several events in the Armstrong Hall complex and it is a brilliant place to hold events of most kinds. Its even used for the mobile blood donation service! The room is large enough for concerts and I often pop in to various exhibitions, shows, craft fairs etc. Parking is good too as there is a car park right opposite. The Cossham Hall isnt so nice as the Armstrong so if you are thinking of booking the complex, bear this in mind. There are also several small rooms ideal for small meetings/groups etc.

Nice place
This is a great place to hold your party or event. There are extra smaller size rooms for a more cosy small meeting etc., or the large hall with stage and lighting that has been used for many 'do's!
I miss bingo that was held in the Cossham Hall, sadly that closed a year or so ago. I have been to many dolls house fairs in the Armstrong Hall and some concerts. Its great to have such a nice venue in Thornbury and have some 'stars' appear there, especially in the Arts Festival weeks. There is always something going on there for every taste. Parking is excellent also with the large car park just across the road.
