Remarkable! Lib Dem councillors drop a leaflet through my door asking me to help them preserve Thornbury. They don't want development off Morton Way.

When the idea of developing Park Farm was first devised, there was a deafening silence from these local politicians. No leaflets, no information. Nothing. Now that its Morton Way under threat, suddenly development will harm the town. Suddenly, having houses some distance from the High Street is a problem and saving fields becomes a priority.

I hope development does not take place on Morton Way, but I for one won't lift a finger to help the Lib Dem town councillors who have consistently choosen to ignore sections of the town and now look to protect others using arguments they have previously dismissed.
