Thornbury Volunteer Centre celebrates its Silver Jubilee year

Thornbury Volunteer Centre turns 25 this year.

One of Thornbury's most recognisable charities - the Volunteer Centre is encouraging the whole community to get involved in their Silver Jubilee celebrations throughout 2013.

Established in 1988 by a small group of councillors and residents, the Volunteer Centre has grown in size and reputation. The centre, wants its anniversary year to be a celebration of all aspects of volunteering, of volunteers and of the history of volunteering at the Centre.
