Royal Mail lorry hits pedestrian in Patchway: Police appeal for witnesses

A 20-year-old man was seriously injured when he was hit by a Royal Mail lorry on the A38 at Patchway on Saturday (December 1).

The collision was reported at about 11.35pm. The lorry was travelling in the direction of Aztec West - when it collided with a pedestrian.

A man was seriously injured in the collision and was taken to Frenchay Hospital, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

Collision investigators are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or immediately before the collision occurred who may have information to help their enquiries.
