UNDEFEATED Real Thornbury have turned their attention to the double after lifting the GFA Minor Cup trophy at Oaklands Park, Almondsbury.
Sam Taylor's crisp finish in the 19th minute put Thornbury on the path to silverware.
And although Woodland Rangers had chances to force extra-time, they were undone by Sammy Taylor's thunderous strike and substitute Rowan Cartlidge's lofted chip.
Thornbury, the Bristol and District Division Four leaders, nearly made the perfect start after Andy Rice's half-volley rocked the woodwork.
Thornbury continued to mount pressure and they got a deserved breakthrough after 19 minutes.
Sammy Taylor galloped down the middle and slotted through to Sam Taylor, who slammed his shot into the middle of the net.
Woodies, who were defeated in the 2010 final at Almondsbury, might have levelled when Andy Baynton picked out Ben Mitchell, who darted into the area but let loose a tame effort.
Thornbury picked up the pace again and Tom Miller's sweet strike, along with a fierce shot from Rice, forced magnificent saves from Woodies keeper Ash Joyner.
Woodies continued to live dangerously at the back and might have gone two down, but Mike Barton's cross was scuffed by Sam Taylor.
Then, an error from player-manager Simon Eakins allowed Barton to intercept, but he struck his shot wide.
Woodies kept their belief and Ben Mitchell nearly equalised, but his glancing header was saved by Tom Barlow. Mitchell then fired another effort over the top.
In the 82nd minute, Thorbury went further ahead when Sammy Taylor netted with a 45-yard drive.
Two minutes later, Thornbury secured victory when Cartlidge scored with a clever lob.
Joint Thornbury managers Miller and Frank Hook said: "We couldn't be more proud, to be honest."
