Concern is growing for missing woman Mary Street, last seen in Southmead Road, Filton at about 7.30am on Saturday, September 22.

Police are investigating two possible sightings but so far we have been unable to confirm it was Mary who was seen. As the weather has been poor this weekend, and because of Mary's age and health, her family and those officers looking for her are becoming increasingly worried.

Although she was last seen in Filton, Mary is known to be a good walker and she may be able to cover a large area on foot.

Mary is 68-years-old and is described as white, 5ft 5ins, with a medium build with collar-length grey hair. She is believed to be wearing black trousers and a grey coat.

Anyone who has seen Mary since she went missing, or knows her current whereabouts, should contact police immediately on 101.

UPDATE: 26/9 - The search for Mary Street is continuing and homeowners are being asked to search their property in case she's taken shelter somewhere.

A police spokesman said: "Mary was last seen in Filton on Saturday September 22 and she has now been missing for three days. We, together with her family, are very worried about because of her age, health and the length of time she has been missing. Residents in Filton and the wider Bristol area are asked to check any sheds, garages or other outbuildings they may have in case Mary has sought shelter somewhere."
