Pedestrian seriously injured after being hit by a bus in Filton yesterday: Police witness appeal

A man – believed to be in his late teens - was taken to Frenchay Hospital with serious head injuries after being hit by a bus in Filton yesterday evening (February 4).

The collision occurred outside Abbey Retail Park in Station Road at about 6.30pm.

His condition is described as critical but stable.

The road was closed to allow a detailed examination of the scene. It was re-opened shortly before 11pm.
