Man arrested on suspicion of theft from car in Thornbury

A man was arrested in Thornbury this morning on suspicion of theft from a vehicle.  

Patrolling police spotted a man acting suspiciously by a car in Gillingstool, at about 1.15am.

He was later released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Neighbourhood PC Natalie Draper said: "Thornbury is a lower crime area, but I'd still ask people to be security-conscious. Always make sure your car is locked when you leave it, with nothing left on view inside.
