Let Thornbury entertain you this Fireworks night

Both residents and visitors to Thornbury are in for a real treat this year as local firework displays light up the sky's over Thornbury.

Thornbury Round Table will be holding their usual annual display in what is sure to be a breath taking display. The action starts with a child friendly fire work display at 6:30pm followed by the lighting of the bonfire at 7pm. The main display will be lighting up the Thornbury sky at around 7:30pm. The event is supported by radio station Jack FM.

Tickets for the event which is held at the Mundy Playing Fields cost just £4.00 per adult and £2.00 per child or on the gate at £5.00 per adult or £3.00 per child.

Another great firework display is at the Chantry in Thornbury, Each year the Thornbury & District Community Association entertain both the locals and visitors with a show stopping display of fireworks. Funds raised at the event will go towards helping to cover the costs or restoration work that is needed at the Chantry. Advance tickets are just £3.50 per adult and £2.50 per child. Tickets will also be available on the gate at a cost of £4.00 per adult and £3.00 per child. You can purchase your tickets from the Chantry Office and also the Chantry Bar.

After the display why not head over to the recently restored Swan pub in the High Street where you can enjoy a winter BBQ, specially cask ales, local ciders and traditional pub food with a twist.

Also dont forget to wrap up warm and take your scarf and gloves, if you dont yet have any then take a look in QS as they have a good selection currently on offer.
