Although it might seem a long way away at the moment - keep your diaries free for Tuesday, November 20... as this is the date for Thornbury's 2012 Christmas Light Switch On.

The Thornbury Christmas Lights Association (TCLA) has confirmed the date for the event – they just have to find a celebrity guest.
You'll remember that last year The Stig, of BBC's Top Gear, showed up. Who would you like to see help do the honours this November?
All proceeds from the switch-on will this year go to TS Battleaxe, Thornbury's Sea Cadet Unit.
