Collect your Free cardboard recycling bags at a number of locations around Thornbury

South Gloucestershire Council is providing local residents that want one with a FREE bag for recycling cardboard.

Collect your free bag now whilst stocks last
These bags have been introduced to help you recycle more of your cardboard waste and reduce the amount of cardboard contaminating the green wheeled bins. Some residents do not want additional containersso cardboard presented neatly at the kerbside in other containers will continue to be collected as normal.
The first supply of bags have been distributed to local libraries, leisure centres and other outlets listed below and they will be restocking these distribution points with a second delivery by mid September.
Bags are available a one per household, first come, first served basis whilst stocks last

If you have a disability or mobility issue and there is no one else that can collect a bag for you then the council may be able to arrange delivery. Please contact 01454 863593 or email: waste.management@southglos.gov.uk to talk about your situation. (Delivery may take up to 10 working days)
