CLEVEDON completed the double over Sidmouth with a 32-12 success on the road to remain well in contention to push for promotion from South West One West.
The North Somerset side surged 13 points clear at the turnaround and led 27-0 at one stage before the Devon side restored some respectability to the scoreline.
Tries from Simon Johns, Oscar James, Owen Biggins, Mike Lowis and Dean Ashfield helped Clevedon secure the bonus point, while Mike Taylor slotted two conversions and a penalty.
Fourth-placed Clevedon are now only two points behind Camborne, who moved up to second with an 18-17 home triumph over fellow-promotion rivals Avonmouth. The visitors led 11-3 at the break thanks to a try wide out from winger Charlie Reynolds and two Andy Taylor penalties.
Another Taylor penalty stretched the advantage only for the Cornish outfit to storm back with 12 unanswered points to edge 15-14 in front. Another penalty saw Camborne add to their lead, but Taylor kept the visitors well in contention with his fourth successful kick.
Ollie Fleming and Jak Evans both grabbed hat-tricks in Thornbury's 69-0 victory at Chosen Hill, who appear certain to drop back down to Western Counties North.
Jon Day (2), George Maggs and Rob Higgitt also crossed, while there was a penalty try and seven conversions from Tim Stephens.
Cleve, meanwhile, suffered a setback as Berry Hill secured a first away win of the campaign, triumphing 28-12 at Hayfields. The Forest side stormed 23-6 in front.
And although Sam Roach tried desperately hard to rouse his side with two tries, one converted by George Perry, who had earlier slotted two penalties, it was too late to prevent a surprise defeat.
In National Three South West, Old Reds lost 29-22 at Old Patesians.
Reds led 10-0 at one stage before coming off second best.
Their were tries from Old Reds skipper Jed Hooper, Dan Fry and Simon Mortimer. Joe Hall converting two and also landing a penalty.
Weston-super-Mare went down 55-10 at second-placed Chnnor, flanker Jamie Rudkin and winger Matt Watkins grabbing late consolation scores.
