If you like singing Christmas carols or listening to others belt them out then Thornbury and its surrounding areas has numerous such events for you and your friends and family to attend over the next few weeks.

Starting things off on Wednesday 12 December at 7.30pm is carols and mince pies at The Swan. People are welcome to come and sing along with mulled wine, mince pies and live accompaniment from Thornbury Town Band.
There's also the Alveston Singers Concert at St Helens Church on Friday 14 December at 7.30pm.
The carols concert is free of charge and is being sung in aid of Pancreatic Cancer Research and Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre, for which there will be a retiring collection.
The next day, on Saturday 15 December at 11am, is a Thornbury Churches Together Carol Service at the St Mary's Centre. All are welcome to participate.
A little later at 4pm there is Christmas Nativity Celebration Fun at Thornbury Baptist Church.
Two days before Christmas on the 23 December there is a candlelit carol service at Thornbury Methodist Church.
St Paul's, The Hackett is holding a Christmas Eve carol service at 6.30pm.
